Koala Kids Foundation happily supports children and young people during cancer treatment (from birth to 25 years), their families and their healthcare teams in Victoria and Tasmania.
We work closely with the Victorian Paediatric Integrated Cancer Service (PICS), a partnership between the three specialist paediatric cancer service providers; The Royal Children’s Hospital, Monash Children’s Hospital and the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre. We support the Children’s Cancer Centres, outlying wards, intensive care units and emergency departments as well as Paediatric Radiotherapy Service and OnTrac Adolescent and Young Adult Service at Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre.
REGIONAL VICTORIA
Our volunteers provide small things for families as part of the Regional Outreach Shared Care Program (ROSCP). A large percentage of children and adolescents with cancer live outside metropolitan Melbourne.
TASMANIA
The Royal Hobart Hospital and Launceston General Hospital are part of our Tasmanian network.
