ABOUT US
Koala Kids volunteers provide small things that make a difference to children and young people (from birth to 25 years) during cancer treatment, their families and their healthcare team. We provide therapeutic resources, family support and engaging activities in the Children’s Cancer Centres at The Royal Children’s Hospital and Monash Children’s Hospital, Royal Hobart Hospital, Launceston General Hospital, Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre and nine treatment hospitals in regional Victoria.
I am humbled by the time, energy, passion all the volunteers put in to brighten the day of so many children and families. All programs are delivered with such grace and sophistication.Maya's mum, Sheila Patel
We would like to extend a sincere heart filled thank you to Koala Kids for all your amazing support over the past five to six years. Your provision of distraction tools has made a huge difference to the lives of our young patients admitted to the paediatric unit and helped the staff make their stays more fun and bearable.
