Fundraising for Koala Kids can be lots of fun especially when you involve family, friends or work colleagues in your event. If you are thinking about hosting a fundraising event, please contact us to discuss your ideas.
There are many different ways you can fundraise for Koala Kids and support our mission. While some people might prefer traditional events like hosting a morning or afternoon tea party at work or asking your child’s school if you can arrange a gold-coin fancy dress day, you could also invite your family and friends to make a donation to Koala Kids in lieu of gifts at your next birthday or family celebration or ask people to donate a brand new packet of LEGO or DUPLO.

Read below about some of our previous happy fundraisers.
Six-year-old Charlotte has been growing her beautiful long hair since she was two years old so that she could donate it to be made into a wig for a child with cancer. Whilst preparing to cut her hair, she also wanted to raise money for a charity supporting kids with cancer and their siblings. Charlotte chose Koala Kids as she loves that we supported some very special friends of hers.
Jenny has volunteered with Koala Kids for some time and loves everything about the organisation and the happiness its volunteers provide children and young people with cancer.
In lieu of gifts for her 70th birthday, she invited her friends and family to make a donation to Koala Kids.
Two best mates, Tom Porritt and Ben McGinn competed in the 2XU Triathlon Series, whilst encouraging their friends and family to donate to Koala Kids. Pushing their unfit bodies to the limit, they completed three triathlon legs including an open water swim, run and bike ride. Ben was diagnosed with Leukaemia (ALL) at the age of 3. It was his father’s involvement with Koala Foundation that attracted Ben to Koala Kids from its beginning and when Tom and Ben became mates at school, Tom shared Ben’s empathy for children with cancer and the two are now great supporters of Koala Kids.
