Koala Kids volunteers provide small things that make a difference for children and young people during cancer treatment, their families and their healthcare teams. Our aim is to touch every person from birth to 25 years during treatment with moments of happiness.

Together with these therapists, Koala Kids has developed, sourced and produced a range of essential items which aim to reduce the stress that can be associated with hospitalisation by focusing on developmental, social and emotional wellbeing. These items are neither provided by hospitals nor any other organisations in the paediatric and young people’s cancer space.

THEMED EVENTS

Includes superheroes and movie characters, AFL teams and more. Children enjoy
choosing their tapes each time.
